Whatfix converts Flows into Multi Format Outputs such as PDFs, videos, and slideshows. When you create a Flow, Whatfix captures a screenshot of each step to generate these formats. If a screenshot contains sensitive information, such as credentials or email addresses, hide them using the Censor option.
- The Censor option works only when the Flow is exported as a multi-format output, such as a video, slideshow, PDF, or an article.
- The Censor option hides sensitive information without impacting the tooltip and content.
Use the following steps to censor sensitive information:

Log in to the application where you want to create content, and then launch the Whatfix Studio.

Click Flow.

In the Studio toolbar, select a capture mode.

Click the desired elements on the application page.

After you have captured the required steps, click Done.

Enter the name of the Flow.

Whatfix enables you to add a Display Name for your end users. Use the Content Name for internal tracking, such as region, role, module, or release codes.
Users then see the Display Name in the Self Help, Task List widgets, Hub, Flow Automation Popups and Exports. For more information, see Add a Display Name to Whatfix Content.

To capture additional steps, click Add Step.

Click Additional Options.

In the Censor sensitive info section, click Select.

Select the information on the application that you want to censor.

Click Done on the Whatfix Studio.

To finish creating the step click Save Step, and then, continue creating the flow.
