Introduction
Launcher as a Visibility Rule enables you to limit content access to only those who trigger it from a Launcher. For example, you can set the Visibility Rule for a Pop-up as Launcher and the only way to trigger the Pop-up will be to click the associated Launcher.
- You can use a Launcher as a Visibility Rule only for Pop-ups and Surveys.
- Once you create a Launcher ensure that you add Launcher as a Visibility rule in the content that is attached to the Launcher to trigger it via a Launcher only.
- If you don't add the Launcher Visibility Rule in the Pop-up or Survey, the Pop-up/Survey appears when the user opens the page on which the it has been created, and the Pop-up/Survey is also shown when the user clicks the Launcher.
Use Case
When you have created a Survey to collect feedback from your users about their experience with the application, you may not want to interrupt their work flow. You would want to let your users take the Survey at their convenience. To achieve this, you can use Launcher as a Visibility Rule in the Survey. This will enable your users to take the Survey only when they click the Launcher button.
