Use Survey Analytics to analyze how your users respond to your Surveys. View Survey summaries or individual responses to gain insights into your end-user experience.

Expand the following accordions for more details:
Use the following steps to access Survey Analytics:
- On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Guidance analytics.

- Click Surveys.

The Surveys page shows the following information:

| Column Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Survey Name | The name of your Survey. |
| Responses | The number of responses received for the Survey. |
| Template | The Survey template. |
| Creation Date | The date you created the Survey. |
Use filters to narrow down your Survey Analytics list. By default, the Stage filter is set to Production and the date filter is set to display data for the Last 90 days.

Date filter: Use the date filter to view Surveys created and published within a specific date range. To view your Survey in the Survey Analytics list, ensure you include both the creation date and the published date in your selected date range.

For example, consider a Survey created on August 1, 2025 and then published on August 15, 2025. The Stage filter is set to Production.
- If you set the date range from August 1, 2025 to August 10, 2025, your Survey is not shown because the date range does not include the published date.
- If you set the date range from August 10, 2025 to August 15, 2025, your Survey is not shown because the date range does not include the creation date.
- If you set the date range from August 1, 2025, to August, 15, 2025, your Survey is shown because the date range includes both the creation date and the published date.
- Use the following table to understand how the date filter works:
Date Range Selected Survey shown in analytics Reason August 1, 2025 to August 10, 2025 No Published date (August 15, 2025) is outside the selected date range. August 10, 2025 to August 15, 2025 No Creation date (August 1, 2025) is outside the selected date range. August 1, 2025 to August 15, 2025 Yes Both the creation date and published date are within the selected date range.
Stage filter: Filter Surveys by their stage. By default, the filter is set to Production, which shows all published Surveys.

To view Surveys that were previously published but are now unpublished, set the Stage filter to Ready. Consider the following scenario:
- You created a Survey and then published it on August 1, 2025.
- You unpublished the Survey on August 16, 2025.
- Use the following table to understand how the Stage filter works:
Date range selected Stage Filter Survey shown in analytics Reason August 1, 2025 to August 15, 2025 Production Yes You published the Survey during this period, so it appears under Production. August 1, 2025 to August 15, 2025 Ready No You published the Survey during this period, so it does not appear under Ready. August 16, 2025 to August 31, 2025 Production No You unpublished the Survey after August 16, 2025, so it no longer appears under Production. August 16, 2025 to August 31, 2025 Ready Yes You unpublished the Survey after August 16, 2025, therefore it appears under Ready.
