Configure feedback in Hub

Use the following steps to enable feedback in Hub and view the customization options:

On the Whatfix guidance dashboard, click Style.

Click Panel.

Click Feedback.
Enable or disable feedback
Default customization options for the feedback form
Click the Customize accordion to view the customization options.
By default, the following customizations are applied for the Feedback feature:

Add Dropdown | A toggle to include feedback categories in the feedback form | Disabled |
Require Email | A toggle to require end users to provide their email while submitting feedback | Disabled |
Allow screenshot attachment | A toggle to enable end users to provide images in their feedback | Enabled |
If you want to capture end-user details but prefer not to mandate end users to provide email IDs, you can opt to automatically capture end-user details by reaching out to support@whatfix.com.
Customize the feedback form
Preview the feedback form for the currently applied customizations beside the customization options. The preview updates accordingly whenever you change a customization option.
Add feedback categories
To add categories to your feedback form, enable the Add Dropdown toggle.
- To change the text on the category dropdown, modify the text in the Label section.
- Enter the name of your category in the option box.
- To add another category, click Add another option.
- To delete a category, click the Remove icon next to the option you want to delete.
Once you have enabled Feedback and made all the required customizations, click Save.
For these changes to reflect for your end users, you must do a Push to Production.
