Use Whatfix Preview Mode to review and see how the DAP on OS experience is for your end-users. Find any errors that might have slipped in and rectify them before your end users face an issue.

For Mac

To enable or disable Preview Mode in the DAP on OS application on Mac:

Launch the DAP on OS application and ensure it is running in the foreground.
Press Command ⌘ + Control ⌃ + P to switch Preview Mode on or off.
The application automatically refreshes, and you’ll see content and widgets in both the Ready and Production stages.

For Windows

To enable Preview Mode in the DAP on OS application on Windows:

The Start Hub In Dev Mode shortcut is available in two locations depending on your installation type:
- User-Level Installation Path: C:\Users\{user_name}\AppData\Local\Whatfix Player
- System-Level Installation Path: C:\Program Files\Whatfix\Whatfix Player
- Replace {user_name} with your Windows username.
Double-click the Start Player In Dev Mode shortcut to launch the application in Preview Mode.

To disable Preview Mode in the DAP on OS application on Windows:

Click the Stop Player shortcut to disable preview mode.
Click the Start Player shortcut to restart Hub in normal mode.
