The Hub widget can be customized to change its appearance and how end users interact with it. Hub can be customized from the Style section of the dashboard.
Use the following steps to customize Hub:
On the DAP on OS dashboard, click Style.
Click Panel.
DAP on OS customizations are of the following types:
Customisations: Enables you to change the color, text, and position of DAP on OS.
Attention: Provides animation options for Pin and customizations for the DAP on OS nudge message.
Customisation
To view the customizations available for the appearance of DAP on OS, click the Customisations tab.
Change the color of Hub
Change the color of the Pin and DAP on OS panel. In the Color accordion, click the color icon next to Theme color. Select a color among the preset colors, or provide a hex value.
Edit the text in Explorer
In the Panel accordion, change the text in Explorer.
Edit the text on Pin
In the FAB accordion, modify the input box next to Text.
This changes the text that appears when you hover your cursor over Pin.
Change the Pin icon
Use the following steps to change the Pin icon:
In the FAB accordion, go to the Icon section.
Choose the Icon you want as the Pin icon.
Change the default position of Pin
In the FAB accordion, next to Position, choose one of the 2 available position options. Pin appears in this position for all end users by default. However, end users can change the position of Pin by dragging and dropping it to their preferred location.
Attention
Click Attention to view customizations attention-related customizations.
Enable or disable animations for Pin
In the Animate icon accordion, toggle Enable on. Select from three animation options:
Ripple
Flash
Pulse
View the animation for each of these options in the preview beside the accordion.
Change how many times the animation happens by changing the Number of times to be shown count.
Enable or disable nudges on Hub
Nudges appear when end users first see DAP on OS. A nudge is a tool-tip that displays on DAP on OS notifying the end user about the feature. To enable it, in the Nudge accordion, toggle Enable on.
In the Show message tool-tip on, choose between showing the nudge on Pin and showing the nudge on the DAP on OS panel.
Change the message shown on the tool-tip.
Choose how many times the nudge appears using the Number of times to be shown dropdown.
Change the text on the button that end users click to acknowledge and close the nudge in the Button Text section.
Once you are done customizing DAP on OS, click Save.
