Introducing Desktop Wallpaper Communication

What is new?

Whatfix introduces the Desktop Wallpaper Communication feature on DAP on OS, which enables critical updates to be delivered directly to users' desktop home screens or lock screens.

Why does it matter to me?

Ensuring critical updates reach all users, even before they open any application, can be challenging without effective communication tools. Desktop Wallpaper Communication addresses this by delivering important updates, announcements, and reminders directly to users' desktop home screens or lock screens, ensuring visibility and immediate awareness.

As content creators, you can create and manage messages independently and deliver targeted updates. For more information, see Create Desktop Wallpaper Communication. End users benefit from a non-intrusive experience by receiving key messages directly on their desktops, integrating seamlessly with their daily workflows.

How do I do this?

Improved QuickRead Accuracy

What is new?

Whatfix now has an improved accuracy of QuickRead responses.

Why does it matter to me?

QuickRead responses can now retrieve and display all relevant content more accurately.

The following are some of the enhancements done to improve accuracy:

• Fixed issues where content is available but responses are not generated.

• Improved readability by automatically formatting responses that require step-by-step instructions or bullet points.

• Upgraded the model from GPT-3.5 Turbo to GPT-4o.

• Enhanced citation quality, reducing mismatches by 60%.

How do I do this?

These enhancements automatically apply if the QuickRead feature is enabled on your account after this release. If your account is already enabled with QuickRead, migration will happen in phases. To request for an early migration, contact support@whatfix.com.
