Introduction

Whatfix provides out-of-the-box analytics that display usage and engagement-related data for all your Whatfix content in easy-to-understand visual formats. These include metrics such as the number of queries served from the Explorer and the number of times the DAP on OS application starts.

However, you might sometimes want to create a custom report based on your business needs. For example, you might want to track feedback submitted by end users using the Feedback button on the DAP on OS application.

With Trend Insights, Whatfix enables you to turn all your queries into actionable Insights. It is a one-stop solution for all your reporting needs. Create your own custom engagement reports to get more in-depth information at a granular level.

Create insights by selecting Whatfix-related events and filters, which you can then visualize as charts.

Use Cases

Analyze the users who closed a Pop-up from the US
To measure how many users closed the Pop-up from the US, follow these steps in your Event Setup module:

• Event: Default event = Pop-up closed by 'X' icon
• User filter: Country = United States
• User breakdown: User ID
  

Analyze User Interaction with Explorer Search Results
Use analytics to understand how users interact with content displayed in Explorer search results:

• Event: Default event = Clicks on content within Explorer
• User filter: Browser = chrome
• User breakdown: Country
