Add a Mirror Screen to a Mirror Workflow

Whatfix Mirror enables you to add new screens from the same web application to your existing Mirror Workflow. This ensures your Mirrored application stays up-to-date with the latest functionalities. When you create a Mirror, Whatfix automatically creates a Mirror Workflow that saves all the screens you capture.

Use Whatfix Studio on the relevant web application to capture and add additional screens to your existing Mirror Workflow.

Launch Whatfix Studio on the specific web application from which you want to capture new screens for your Mirror.

Use the following steps to add a Mirror screen to an existing Mirror Workflow:

  1. Launch Whatfix Studio on your application.

  2. Click Mirror.

  1. Click the Mirror Workflow where you want to add a Mirror screen.

  2. Click the More icon.

  3. In the dropdown, select the relevant option.

  • Use Add capture before to add the new capture before the selected Mirror screen.
  • Use Add capture after to add the new capture after the selected Mirror screen.
  1. Select the UI element to capture the screen.

After you add a new screen capture, Whatfix automatically links the captured screens.

  1. Click the Back icon to go back to the Mirror Project view page.

Whatfix automatically saves the Mirror Workflow when you close the web page or click the Back icon.
