Customisation settings are account-level settings and apply to all Mirror content in your account. This includes Workflows, Simulations, and Assessments.
All Customisation settings apply to both SCORM and non-SCORM deployments, as well as Playground Mode. For more information, see LMS Integration and Understand Playground Mode.
Customisation settings apply across all Language Variants, and learners see the configured changes in their preferred language. For more information, see Multi-Language Support in Mirror.
Whatfix Mirror enables you to customize how learners receive assistance while completing Workflows, Simulations, and Assessments. You can control when assistance appears and how it is presented, helping learners complete tasks independently while providing support when they need it.
You can customize the learner experience in the following ways:
Mirror Nudges: Appear in Workflows and Simulations to draw attention to the target element after a learner makes a specified number of incorrect clicks. You can customize when the Nudge appears and how it looks and behaves.
Assessment Hints: Appear in Assessments after a learner makes a specified number of incorrect attempts. You can customize when the Hint appears, its message, and how it is displayed. Hints provide assistance without enabling DAP Guidance such as Smart Tips or Flows.
Customize Mirror Nudges
Customize Mirror Nudges to determine when they appear and how they draw the learner's attention to the target element.
For example, you can configure Mirror Nudges to appear after a learner makes two incorrect clicks on any Mirror Screen in a Workflow.
You can configure the following:
Whether Mirror Nudges are enabled.
The number of incorrect attempts before a Nudge appears.
The Nudge color.
How the target element is highlighted.
How the Nudge animates to attract the learner's attention.

Configure Assessment Hints
Configure Assessment Hints to determine when they appear and what learners see when they need assistance. Hints provide support within an Assessment without enabling DAP Guidance.
For Assessments, you can configure Hints to appear after a specified number of incorrect attempts, providing learners with assistance without enabling DAP Guidance.
You can configure the following:
Whether Hints are enabled.
The number of incorrect attempts before a Hint appears.
The Hint color.
The tooltip type.
The Hint message.
The Hint text color.

Preview and publish your changes
After configuring the required customisations, save your changes and preview the applicable Mirror content to verify that the changes appear as expected.
The following changes take effect as follows:
When you save customisation changes, Whatfix applies them to content in the Draft and Ready stages.
To make the changes available to learners accessing content in the Production stage, click Publish all.
Preview the updated Workflow, Simulation, or Assessment before publishing to confirm that the assistance appears where and when you expect.
