Export an Assessment as a SCORM Package

Whatfix enables you to export an Assessment as a SCORM package for use in a Learning Management System (LMS). The exported package is compatible with SCORM-compliant LMSs.

When an Assessment is exported as a SCORM package, all Whatfix Guidance content, such as Flows, Pop-ups, and Smart Tips, disappears. The exported version includes only the Mirror Simulation, along with the Task List that tracks the Workflows learners must complete.

For example, you can export an Assessment as a SCORM package and upload it to your LMS to make the Assessment available to learners as part of their training curriculum.

Note:

• To enable SCORM export, contact support@whatfix.com.

• You can export Assessments as a SCORM package only in the Production stage. For more information, see Publish Whatfix Mirror.

Use the following steps to export an Assessment as a SCORM package:

1. On the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard, click Production.
   

2. Hover your cursor over the Assessment you want to export as a SCORM package.  

   

3. Click the More icon.

   

4. Click Share.
   

5. Click Export SCORM.
   

6. Enter the name of the course.

   

7. Click Export SCORM.

   

8. Click Download.

   

Note:

• The SCORM package downloads as a .zip file containing the Assessment. Upload this package to your Learning Management System (LMS) to make the Assessment available to your learners. For more information, see LMS Integration.

• When a learner completes a SCORM-exported Assessment, Whatfix generates insights on the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard to track learner performance. For more information, see Assessment Analytics.
