Whatfix enables you to preview an Assessment before you publish and share it with your users. Previewing an Assessment helps you verify that the Assessment functions and appears as intended before your users access it.
Use Preview assessment to verify the following:
The landing screen appears correctly as the first screen of the Workflow selected as the Assessment starting point.
Guidance content such as Smart Tips and Flows does not appear during the Assessment.
The Task List appears correctly with the required Workflows for the Assessment and tracks your users’ progress as they complete them.
Mirror Screens appear in the correct sequence based on the Playground Mode configuration.
Start and end screen pop-ups appear with the configured messages and instructions, if enabled.
Note:
You can preview an Assessment only in the Ready and Production stages.
Mirror does not capture data or record activity for Assessments in the Ready stage, and this data does not appear in the Mirror Analytics dashboard.
Info:
Whatfix recommends you preview an Assessment in the Ready stage before you publish the Assessment. Analytics data is captured only for Assessments that you publish and share in the Production stage.
Use the following steps to preview an Assessment:
On the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard, select the Simulation that includes the Assessment you want to preview.

Click Preview assessment.

Info:
The Assessment opens in a new browser tab and shows exactly how it will appear to your end users.
Note:
Once you preview the Assessment and confirm the end-user experience, publish the Assessment. For more information, see Publish Whatfix Mirror.
After you publish the Assessment, share it to evaluate how effectively your users complete tasks without guidance. For more information, see Share an Assessment.
To share an Assessment through a Learning Management System (LMS), export it as a SCORM package. For more information, see Export an Assessment as SCORM.
