Whatfix enables you to track how your learners perform in Roleplay using Trend Insights. You can also view Roleplay performance in Roleplay Analytics on the Mirror Analytics Dashboard. For more information, see Create a Roleplay and Roleplay Analytics.
For example, you can track how many learners completed a customer service Roleplay over a specific time period to identify conversation patterns and refine your training scenarios.
Whatfix provides the following events to track roleplay performance:
Workflow or Roleplay started: Tracks when a learner starts a Workflow or Roleplay. For example, this event records when a learner clicks Start Session or interacts with the first Mirror Screen of a Roleplay-enabled Workflow.
Workflow and Roleplay completed: Tracks when a learner completes a Workflow and Roleplay. For example, this event records when a learner finishes a Roleplay, after which the performance data becomes available in Mirror Analytics Dashboard.
Workflow and Roleplay Ended: Tracks when a Workflow and Roleplay session ends for a learner. For example, this event records when the learner or the Avatar ends a Roleplay session before completion.
Use the following steps to visualize a Roleplay using Trend Insights:
On the Whatfix Analytics Dashboard, click Insights.
Click Create insights.
Click Trend Insights.
Click the Give your insight a name text box to enter a name for your Insight.
Click the Description text box and enter a description that explains what the Trend Insight is about.
Click All Users.
From the Select user type dropdown, choose whether to analyze data for All users, Identified users, or Anonymous users.
Click Choose metric.
Under Event metrics, select Total events or Unique users as required.
Click Add event.
Click Mirror events.
Select Workflow or Roleplay started, Workflow and Roleplay completed, Workflow and Roleplay Ended, or a combination of these.
Click Apply.
Select the required Filters or Breakdowns. For more information, see Filter events using Event Filters and Breakdown in Trend Insights.

You can filter or break down by Roleplay name to view data for a specific Roleplay, or by modality to compare Voice Roleplays and Chat Roleplays.
Click Add user filter and select the required user filter. For more information, see Filter Insights data using User Filters and User Breakdown.

To exclude specific filter values from your data, you can apply the required filters. For more information, see How can I exclude filter values while analyzing events?
To exclude blank filter values from your data, you can exclude them from your user filters. For more information, see How can I exclude blank filter values in Insights?
Click Add user breakdown and select the required user breakdown. For more information, see Filter Insights data using User Filters and User Breakdown.
Once the setup is complete, scroll down to view the generated data chart.
Click Save.
Note:
Select the required chart type to visualize the data for your insight. For more information, see Understand the chart types in Trend Insights.
Filter data based on Daily, Weekly, and Monthly timeframes.
Click Summarize to generate an AI summary of the Trend Insight. This helps you interpret the data more easily and understand key patterns. You need to enable Ask Whatfix AI to get the AI summary. For more information, see Introduction to Ask Whatfix AI.
