Metric Comparison enables you to evaluate the performance of metrics over a selected date range and analyze the impact of any changes. With Metric Comparison, Whatfix enables you to:
View performance changes: See changes in performance for all metrics in the Summary Insight or focus on a single metric.
Make timely comparisons: Compare metrics from a selected date range, such as 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or a custom date range, with the preceding equivalent date range.
Analyze change types: See metrics by percentage change or absolute change, depending on which measurement is more relevant to your analytical needs.
Follow these steps to compare metric performance in Summary Insights:
- On the Enterprise Insights dashboard, click Insights.
Click the Summary Insight where you want to compare metrics.
Select a date range for which you want to analyze the metrics.

Whatfix enables you to choose 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or a custom date range using the date field.
Click the Settings icon for metric comparison.
Under Show % change, select the metrics you want to compare.
Click Apply.

The comparison data is shown as a percentage increase or decrease and is displayed as a badge next to the corresponding metric data.
