Unable to see the Users option in Visibility Rules

Issue

You want to display Whatfix widgets, such as Pop-ups or Smart Tips based on Cohorts, but you’re unable to see the Users option in widget Visibility Rules. The Users option enables you to add a Cohort as a Visibility Rule to target Whatfix-Widgets to specific user segments. For more information, see Add Cohorts as Visibility Rules.

Note:

If you have the New Visibility Rules, the Users option changes to the Cohorts option. The Cohorts option enables you to add a Cohort as a Visibility Rule using the New Visibility Rules and target Whatfix widgets to specific user segments. You might want to use the Cohort you created to show Whatfix widgets but you’re unable to see the Cohorts option in the widget Visibility Rules.

Probable Cause

The Users or Cohorts option is unavailable because the Cohorts as Visibility Rules feature is a Beta feature that is not enabled by default.

Suggested Solution

Contact support@whatfix.com to enable the Cohorts as Visibility Rules feature.

Once the feature is enabled, you can see the Users option.

Note:

If you have the New Visibility Rules, you see the Cohorts option once the feature is enabled.
