What can I do with ECC Dashboard

Overview

The Enterprise Control Center (ECC) dashboard enables you to view and manage multiple applications on which Whatfix is deployed. All existing accounts associated with the organization can be collectively managed on the Applications Dashboard.

The Applications Dashboard enables you to do the following:

Access the application.

View license information such as Application Utilisation, Total licenses, and License type for the application.

View the number of Unique users using the application.

View the Activity History of the application.

Note:

The Application utilisation, license information, and Activity History are displayed only if you upload the license data for the application. For more information, see Get Application Utilisation data using Enterprise Insights (EI).
Only applications that you have access to can be opened from the Applications Dashboard.
The unique user count is displayed only if User Identification is enabled for the application. For more information, see Identify unique users in Whatfix Analytics.

View application data

The Applications Dashboard lists all the applications on which Whatfix is deployed.

Use the following steps to view application data on the ECC dashboard:

On the Enterprise Insights dashboard, click Applications.
Click Licenses.

View the applications on which Whatfix is deployed.

Use the search bar to find applications.
Select the number of rows to be displayed on a page.

View the Activity History

The Activity History panel shows the license upload history of the application, including the number of licenses added, the date the license was added, the date from which the license is effective, and the date until which the license is effective.

Use the following steps to view the Activity History of an application:

On the Enterprise Insights dashboard, click Applications.
Click Licenses.

Hover your cursor over the application for which you want to view the license upload history, and then click the Activity History icon.

The Activity History drawer opens to the right.

Access an application

Use the following steps to access an application from the ECC dashboard:

On the Enterprise Insights dashboard, click Applications.
Click Licenses.

Hover your cursor over the application that you want to access, and then click the Open icon.

The Whatfix Analytics dashboard of the application opens in a new tab.

View Application Utilisation, Unique users, Total licenses, and License type

The Applications Dashboard displays the following data about an application:
ecc_license_info

Application Utilisation: This enables you to understand the Return on Investment (ROI) of the application. The utilization is calculated as the unique user count divided by the license count.
Unique users: This denotes the number of unique users using the application.
Total licenses: This denotes the number of licenses purchased for the application. This information needs to be uploaded using the License details CSV template. For more information on how to upload licenses, see Get Application Utilisation data using Enterprise Insights (EI).
License type: This denotes the type of license purchased for the application. The license type can be perpetual or subscription. For more information on the license type, see Get Application Utilisation data using Enterprise Insights (EI).
