Introduction
Adoption score is a metric that enables product owners to gain insights into how users are engaging with applications and using them effectively within an organization. The Adoption score takes into account how active users are in the application, and whether they're able to adapt and complete a process.
It helps product owners understand user behavior and provide necessary interventions to improve the engagement, efficiency, productivity, and Return on Investment (ROI) of the applications.
Adoption score is calculated based on the following parameters:
A: Activity in the application
C: Completion rate
Activity (A)
Activity indicates how many users are active in the application in comparison to the expected optimal activity. It is computed as the number of unique users in the application divided by the number of licenses procured.
Based on the computed percentage, a pre-defined score is assigned for the activity.

Completion rate (C)
The Completion rate is calculated from the most recent 10 Funnels created in an account, and filtered based on the created date. It is computed as the number of users who completed the last step in the Funnel divided by the number of users who completed the first step in the Funnel.
The average across all 10 Funnels gives the Completion rate percentage. Based on the percentage, a pre-defined score is assigned for the Completion rate.
Both parameters get a 0.5 weightage in the final calculation of the Adoption score.

Steps to get Adoption score
Use the following steps to get the Adoption score:

On the Enterprise Insights dashboard, click Insights.

Click Create Insight.

Click Summary Insights.
Click the Edit icon to enter the title for your Summary Insight.
In the Groups section, select Application using the dropdown.
In the Metrics section, click Add Metrics.
Click Custom Metrics and then select Adoption score.
