Whatfix enables customization of how end users see PDFs, Links, and Flows launched from Self Help.
Expand the following accordions for more details:
Improved Self Help is a Beta feature. To enable Improved Self Help on your dashboard, contact support@whatfix.com. Improved Self Help provides an enhanced and revamped end-user experience of the Self Help widget.
Configure how users interact with the content displayed in Improved Self Help such as PDFs, Links, and Flows.
Use the following steps to configure the behavior of content launched from Improved Self Help:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

Click Self Help.

Click Interaction.

In the Execute Pdfs and Links section, configure the following:

- On same page: Displays the Pdfs and Links in a popup on the application page.
Use the following options to configure how the Pdf and Link popup appears for your end users:
- Where Self Help is positioned (recommended): The popup opens where the Self Help widget is placed on your application.
- Right Align: The popup opens on the right side of your application.
- Left Align: The popup opens on the left side of your application.
- Center Align: The popup opens at the center of your application.

Change the size of the link pop-up using the drop-down menu.

- On new page: Opens the Pdfs and Links on a new tab.
On Mac machines, if the browser is in full screen or maximized mode, the link opens in a new tab instead of a popup. To avoid this, exit from full screen to minimized mode for the link to open in a popup.
- In the Execute Flows section, make the following configurations:

- On Same Page: Runs the Flow on the same application page
- On New Page: Opens the application on a new tab and runs the Flow
- As Pop-up: Displays the Flow information pop-up and runs the Flow when the user clicks Guide Me
- As Slideshow: Displays the Flow in a slideshow format
- Click Save.

Ensure that you push the changes made to Production so that the latest behavior is reflected for end users.
