Delete Smart Tips

Whatfix enables you to delete Smart Tips that are no longer useful to you. You can delete a single Tip from the Smart Tip collection or the entire Smart Tip collection.

Note:

Whatfix widgets can be deleted only in the Draft and the Ready stages.

Delete a Smart Tip from a Collection

Use the following steps to delete Smart Tips from a Smart Tip Collection:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.

  2. Click Smart-tips.

  3. Hover your cursor over the required Smart Tip collection, and then click the Edit icon.

  1. Go to the Tip that you want to delete, and then click Delete.

Delete a Smart Tip Collection

Use the following steps to delete a complete Smart Tip Collection:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

  2. Click Smart-tips.

  1. Hover your cursor over the Smart Tip collection you want to delete, and then click the More icon.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. In the confirmation pop-up, click Delete.

Delete Multiple Smart Tip segments

Use the following steps to delete multiple Smart Tips segments:

  1. On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.
    ia_left_nav_widgets

  2. Click Smart-tips.

  1. Select the Smart Tip segments that you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete icon.

  3. In the confirmation pop-up, click Delete.
