Use Preview Mode to preview a Self Help segment before publishing. This helps you test the segment's appearance and behavior on your application as your end users see it.
Expand the accordion(s) for more details.
Use the following steps to preview an Old Self Help segment:
Log in to your application and then launch the Whatfix Studio.

Enable the Preview Mode toggle.

Click Enter.

If the content you want to preview is in the Draft stage, then select the Include Draft content and widgets. checkbox.

- Refresh the page to Preview the Self Help widget on the application.
Once you preview the widget and disable the preview mode, you have to refresh the page again for the preview mode to be disabled.
Improved Self Help is a Beta feature. To enable Improved Self Help on your dashboard, contact support@whatfix.com. Improved Self Help provides an enhanced and revamped end-user experience of the Self Help widget. Once enabled, end users see Improved Self Help instead of the Self Help widget.
Use the following steps to preview an Improved Self Help segment:
Log in to your application and then launch the Whatfix Studio.

Enable the Preview Mode toggle.

Click Enter.

If the content you want to preview is in the Draft stage, then select the Include Draft content and widgets. checkbox.

- Refresh the page and find the FAB icon on your application.

Once you preview the widget and disable the preview mode, you have to refresh the page again for the preview mode to be disabled.
As per the latest updates to Manifest V3 (MV3), you cannot use the Preview mode to preview Advanced Customization (AC) code changes on Whatfix Studio.
To preview such changes, Whatfix has introduced a Preview extension. This extension enables you to test any AC code used to achieve certain out-of-the-box capabilities. For more information, see Install and use the Whatfix Preview extension in Google Chrome.
