In large enterprises, employees may use various browsers depending on their needs. In such cases, the extension files are generated for each browser and rolled out independently as per the organization’s IT policy. In the long run, installing extensions on multiple browser types becomes hard to implement and difficult to manage with new users coming into the system.

The Single Installer feature in Whatfix enables you to generate a single extension file (.msi) for multiple browsers and use it to deploy the extension to the end-users. This is a one time task and you do not have to worry about which browser is being used by your end-users. In some cases, when a new browser is added to the system, you can just update the same extension file and deploy the extension on the newly added browser.
