One-click Extensions on Internet Explorer enable you to generate and update your IE extensions on your own from the Whatfix Dashboard.
One-click Extensions empower you to manage all your content updates to the browser extension without needing to depend on the Whatfix support team.
Use the following steps to enable and manage One-click Extensions on Internet Explorer (IE),
On the Whatfix dashboard, at the top right, click the Settings icon.
Click Manage Extensions.
If you do not see the Manage Extensions option, contact support@whatfix.com.
Navigate to the Configurations tab.
Navigate to the Other Browsers section, and enable the Internet Explorer toggle.
To enable Internet explorer Extension, on the pop-up, click Enable.
You cannot select the downloadable files for IE.
- Navigate to the Extensions tab, and on the IE extension card, click the Generate button.
- The first time you generate the extension, there's a Generate button.
- You don't have to manually update your IE extension every time you update your Whatfix content. When you push your Whatfix content and widgets to the Production stage, your IE extension is automatically updated. For more information on how to push Whatfix content and widgets to Production, see Push Whatfix content and widgets to Production.
- You will receive an email once your extension is updated.
