Autocapture automatically captures all click events and interactions on your application pages without requiring manual element capture (User Actions). Enable Autocapture only for specific users on the application to test and validate the feature before enabling it for all end users.
Note:
Autocapture is a Beta feature. Contact support@whatfix.com to enable the feature.
Use the following steps to enable Autocapture for selective users:
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Settings.

Click Advanced customisation.

Click Technical configuration.

Click Add preferences.

Click User Action.

Select the Enable Autocapture for selective users checkbox.

Click Add.

Under the Enable Autocapture for selective users Value, enter the User ID for which you want to enable Autocapture in the text box.
Note:
The User IDs you add must match the User IDs configured by Whatfix to identify the user uniquely on the application. For example, if you’re using email IDs to uniquely identify users, add the same email IDs in the setting.

Info:
To add more than one User ID, separate the IDs using a comma.

There is no limit to the number of User IDs you can add to the setting.
Click Save.

Note:
Publish the changes to make them live on the application.
