Understand Flow exits

Whatfix captures both Flow failures and exits.

• Flow failure - when there is something wrong with the Flow, and the user is not able to proceed.
• Flow exit - when the Flow is functioning, but the user chooses not to continue and instead navigates away.

Flow exits happen due to one of the following reasons,

• User explicitly closes the Flow using the X icon.

  

• Flow transition issue: User did not click on the next available action in the Flow, but clicked any other Flow.

• User navigates away: This could ideally be one of two possibilities,

  • There is no activity from the user
  • User moves away from the computer
