Workflow Stages
The Whatfix Workflow has three stages: choosing the deployment method, creating content in Whatfix Studio, and managing and publishing it from the Whatfix Dashboard.
1. Choose the Mode of Deployment and Content Delivery
- Browser Extension: Deploy Whatfix by using browser-specific extensions that load Whatfix content in supported browsers.
- JavaScript Embed: Deploy Whatfix by adding the Whatfix embed script to your application so content loads directly inside the application interface.
2. Install Whatfix Studio to Create Content
Use Whatfix Studio to build and refine guidance.
- Create content and widgets such as, Flows, Smart Tips, and Pop-ups, and then preview and test the content.
- Organize content using Task Lists and Self Help, and then configure Tags and segmentation to manage visibility.
3. Access the Whatfix Dashboard to Manage and Publish
- Use the Whatfix Dashboard to manage, publish, and edit content.
- Manage users and permissions.
