Thank you for your feedback
By default, all the content created is stored in Whatfix's CDN (Content Distribution Network) unless you intentionally host it on your other preferred server. Based on your use case, Whatfix enables you to host content on Whatfix Cloud or self-host it on your own network.
- Whatfix Cloud - Use the Whatfix CDN or the Whatfix Server to host the content. Whatfix Server can only be used if you have access to your application code to embed a javascript code. Whatfix CDN ensures quick transfer of contents using the multiple servers located around the world. By distributing content using the nearest CDN server, your website visitors experience faster page loading times.
- Self Host - Export Whatfix content and host it on your preferred server (Amazon S3, Apache Web Server, Private server). This enables you to keep all of your Whatfix content on your servers to reduce dependency on outside servers. Self Hosting is typically preferred in the following cases:
- Your application runs on an intranet
- You do not want Whatfix to access your site's information
For more information about hosting content, see Choose a delivery method.
