There are two main applications required to work with Whatfix Desktop, namely, the Whatfix Editor and the Player.

Note

Content creators require both the Editor and Player apps. They can create content and widgets using the Editor and then preview them using the Player.
End users only need to have the Player installed on their desktops to view published Whatfix content and widgets.
