There are two main applications required to work with Whatfix Desktop, namely, the Whatfix Studio and the Player.

Note

Content creators require both the Studio and Player apps. They can create content and widgets using the Studio and then preview them using the Player.
End users only need to have the Player installed on their desktops to view published Whatfix content and widgets.
