Personalization depends on having sufficient data to accurately recommend content to end users. Your account must meet the following criteria to ensure that there is enough data to identify personalized content for all end users:
- There must have been a Self Help segment in Production for at least the past 2 months.
- User Identification must be enabled for at least the past 2 months.
- A minimum of 15 users must have interacted with Self Help in the past 3 months.
- The Self Help widget must have been opened at least 80 times in total in the past 3 months.
Check your eligibility status
To know whether your account is eligible for Personalization, check your Eligibility status on the Whatfix Guidance dashboard.

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Style.

Click Self Help.

Click Smart features.

Click Personalization.

Check your account’s Eligibility status.

- The first time your account becomes eligible for Personalization, it is automatically enabled. For more information see Enable or Disable Personalization.
- If your account fails to meet at least one of the eligibility criteria, it becomes non-eligible for Personalization.
If your account becomes non-eligible while Personalization is enabled, it will remain enabled, however the relevancy of personalized content may be affected. You can choose to disable it from the Dashboard.
