After DAP on OS is installed on a system, there are several ways to access DAP on OS. Upon installation, the interactive DAP on OS icon, Pin, automatically appears on your desktop screen.

Access DAP on OS from the Taskbar (Windows) or Dock (MacOS)
DAP on OS can be accessed from the Taskbar in Windows or Dock in MacOS. When you click the DAP on OS icon on the Taskbar or Dock, Pin appears on top of whichever window you are in.

Access DAP on OS from the System Tray (Windows) or Menu Bar (MacOS)
After you quit DAP on OS from the Taskbar or Dock, it remains active in the background, and any DAP on OS-related nudges are notified through system notifications.
DAP on OS can be reopened from the System Tray in Windows or the Menu Bar in MacOS.

When DAP on OS is reopened, it opens in its last state. That is, it opens exactly as it did before it was last closed.
It opens the last open component: Explorer, Tasks, or Feedback.
