How to start and stop Whatfix DAP on OS?

The following are the steps to start and stop Whatfix DAP on OS on Mac and Windows operating systems.

Mac

Start DAP on OS in either of the following ways:

Method 1: Go to the Applications folder on your system and open WhatFixHub.

Method 2: Use Spotlight search to locate and launch it.

OpenHub_Spotlight

Stop DAP on OS in the following way:

Click the Whatfix Hub icon in the top menu bar and select Quit.

Mac_QuitHub

Windows

Start DAP on OS in the following way:

Go to the Whatfix Player installation directory based on the installation type (User level or System level installer) and launch the Start Player shortcut.

Installation directories:

  • User Level Installer: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Whatfix Player

  • System Level Installer: C:\Program Files\Whatfix\Whatfix Player

Windows_StartPlayer

Stop DAP on OS in either of the following ways:

Method 1: Go to the Whatfix Player installation directory based on the installation type and launch the Stop Player shortcut.

  • Installation directories:

    • User Level Installer: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Whatfix Player

    • System Level Installer: C:\Program Files\Whatfix\Whatfix Player

Hub_StopPlayer

Method 2: Right-click the Whatfix Hub icon in the system tray at the bottom taskbar and select Quit.
