Customize how content opens from Explorer

Whatfix enables you to change the content consumption experience for PDFs and links in Explorer. By default, PDFs and links open in a new window in the same position the DAP on OS is located on your screen.
Use the following steps to customize the content consumption experience in Explorer:

On the Guidance dashboard, click Style.

Click Panel.
- Click Interaction.
Find customization options in the Execute PDFs and Links accordion. Choose between two options:

On the same page: Opens in a new window in the selected position.
Choose among the following position options for the new window:
- Where self help is positioned: Opens in the same position as the Improved Self Help panel.
- Right align: Opens on the right side of your screen.
- Left Align: Opens on the left side of your screen.
- Center Align: Opens in the center of your screen
Additionally, you can choose the window size by clicking the dropdown below the selected position option.

On new page: Opens in a new tab.
Change the content consumption experience for Flows
Choose from the following Flow execution options:
- On Same Page: Executes the Flow on the same page you clicked the Flow.
- On New Page: Opens your current page in a new tab and executes the Flow there.
- As Pop-up: Opens your Flow as a Carousel Pop-up.
- As Slideshow: Opens your Flow as a slideshow.
