Graphical user interface (UI) based installation is the process of installing DAP on OS application on a computer system using a graphical interface, where users interact with on screen prompts to initiate and complete the installation process. This method typically involves running an installer program that guides users through the installation steps, such as agreeing to license agreements, and specifying installation directories.
Prerequisite
Ensure that you have an Org ID. If not, contact Whatfix Representative to get Org ID.

Download DAP on OS' most recent MSI installer from the addons URL based on your preferred installation method.

Go to the downloaded file and open it to launch the installation wizard.

Click Next to continue the installation.

In the Destination Folder window, click Next.
By default, DAP on OS installs in the Program Files directory. You can choose to change the path of the directory.
- In the Player Arguments window, enter the ORG ID and click Next.
- Under ORG ID: add the unique value attributed to your organization. To get the value for ORG (that is, Enterprise ID), contact your Whatfix Representative.
- ORG ID is case-sensitive.

When the Ready to install DAP on OS dialogue appears at the end, click Install.

Once the installation is complete, click Finish.
DAP on OS installation files differ based on Mac's OS processor type; download accordingly.
Use the following steps to install DAP on OS:

Download the installation file based on your MacOS’s Processor type.

Follow the steps mentioned in the Installation Wizard.

Enter the ORG ID.
Contact your Whatfix representative to get the ORG ID.

Click Install. If you want to change the installation directory, click Change Install Location.

Click Close and then launch the DAP on OS application.
