Whatfix enables you to preview a Mirror Simulation before you publish it. Previewing the Simulation helps you validate navigation between Mirror Bildschirms, check how Workflows connect, and confirm Playground Mode behaviour. This ensures the Simulation behaves as intended for your users.
Note:
You can preview a Simulation when it is in the Draft, Ready, or Production stages.
Expand the following accordions for more details:
Preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is enabled
Use Preview to verify the following when Playground Mode is enabled:
Users can move freely between connected Workflows.
Link spiegelns appear only on the Mirror Screens where those elements were captured.
No unexpected navigation between Mirror Screens occurs.
Note:
When Playground Mode is enabled, preview the Simulation from the Workflow you intend to use as the starting Workflow. For more information, see Understand Playground Mode.
The following GIF demonstrates how to preview a Simulation when Playground Mode is enabled. When multiple Mirror Links are available, a user can move between Mirror Screens of connected Workflows through different navigational paths.

Use the following steps to preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is enabled:
On the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard, click the Simulation you want to preview.

Click the Workflow you want to use as the starting point for the Simulation.

Click Preview.

The Preview option opens a window where you can see how the Simulation appears to your users.
Preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is disabled
Use Preview to verify the following when Playground Mode is disabled:
Users can access only the Workflow they open.
Step-by-step navigation between Mirror Screens in the Workflow.
No cross-workflow navigation appears.
Note:
When you disable Playground Mode, you need to preview each Workflow in the Simulation separately since each Workflow runs independently.
The following GIF demonstrates how to preview a Simulation when Playground Mode is disabled. With Playground Mode disabled, a user can move between Mirror Screens in a single fixed path because only one Mirror Link is available at a time.

Use the following steps to preview a Mirror Simulation when Playground Mode is disabled:
On the Whatfix Mirror Dashboard, click the Simulation you want to preview.

Click the Workflow you want to preview.

Click Preview.
