Overview
Whatfix Mirror integrates with Learning Management Systems (LMS) by exporting training content as SCORM packages. This enables you to deliver interactive Mirror-based training as structured courses within your LMS.
Note:
To enable SCORM export, contact support@whatfix.com.
Whatfix supports SCORM 1.2 compliant LMS tools. For more information, see What LMS tools does Whatfix Support?
Depending on your use case, you can export:
Mirror Workflows as SCORM packages for interactive simulations. For more information, see Create a Mirror.
Mirror Assessments as SCORM packages to evaluate learner performance. For more information, see Assessments in Whatfix Mirror.
Mirror Roleplays as SCORM-based programs for workflow and conversation practice. For more information, see Mirror with Roleplay.
After the export is complete, upload the package to your LMS to make it available to learners as part of your training curriculum.
How Mirror integrates with an LMS
Mirror integrates with an LMS by packaging Mirror content as SCORM courses that you can upload and deliver through the LMS.
When learners access the course from the LMS, the Mirror simulation loads as the training experience, enabling your learners to interact with the simulation and follow guided steps as part of the course.
This approach ensures that Mirror content remains interactive while being delivered through standard LMS workflows, without requiring any LMS-specific plugins or integrations.
Info:
When Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) Guidance content such as Pop-ups, Smart Tips or Beacons, is present for the Mirror Workflow, it appears in the exported SCORM package only if both the Mirror Workflow and the associated DAP widget(s) are in the Production stage. For more information, see Create DAP Guidance on Mirror.
When to use LMS integration
Use LMS integration when you want to:
Deliver Mirror content as part of a formal training program.
Track learner progress and completion through your LMS for Mirror content delivered as courses.
Standardize training delivery across teams and regions.
Authentication considerations
Access to Mirror content through an LMS depends on the authentication requirements of the underlying application.
If the application requires authentication, learners must log in when accessing Mirror content from the LMS.
If the application does not require authentication, learners can access Mirror content directly from the LMS.
