Whatfix enables you to create Analytics Variables to capture and reuse data points from your application environment without writing code. Fetch values from the Local Storage, cookies, or Window Variables to track specific interactions or user characteristics.

Why does it matter to me?

Previously, filtering engagement data based on specific properties required technical support and Advanced Customization (AC) code, leading to delays and limited visibility.

The capability provides the following benefits:

• Eliminate dependency on technical teams by configuring data capture directly through the Whatfix Analytics or Guidance dashboards.

• Gain deeper insights by tracking specific values, such as Invoice ID or Quote Number, during user interactions.

• Segment users effectively based on attributes, such as Role, Region, or Subscription Tier.

Note:

Currently, Whatfix supports the creation of variables; the ability to analyze and filter data using these variables in Insights and Cohorts will be available soon.
