Analytics Variables in InsightsGA
What is new?
You can now filter and break down engagement data in Insights using the Analytics Variables you have configured. Use Context Variables to analyze specific interactions and User Attributes to segment users by characteristics such as role, region, or subscription tier.

Why does it matter to me?
Previously, you could create Analytics Variables to capture data points from your application environment, but could not yet use them to analyze or filter engagement data in Insights. That capability is now available.
You can now:
Filter Insights data by User Attributes such as Role, Region, or Subscription Tier to compare engagement across user segments.
Break down event data using Context Variables such as Invoice ID or Quote Number to trace specific interactions in detail.
Analyze engagement without dependency on technical teams or Advanced Customization code.
How do I do this?
The capability is available to everyone without any extra configuration. For more information, see Create an Analytics Variable and Visualize an Analytics Variables in Insights.
Whatfix Ask AI - Chat HistoryGA
What is new?
Ask Whatfix AI now stores questions from current and past sessions in a dedicated Chats menu. You can revisit conversations and continue where you left off. Chat history is retained for one year.
Note:
Only chats created from now onwards are saved in the history.

Why does it matter to me?
This feature helps you continue conversations without losing context and refine your queries over time. It provides the following benefits:
Seamless continuity: Resume past conversations and ask follow-up questions
Refine insights: Build on previous chats instead of starting from scratch
Quick access: View recent chats or browse older ones from history
How do I do this?
This capability is available to all users who have enabled Ask Whatfix AI without additional configuration. For more information, see Ask Whatfix AI - Chat History.
Direct Targeting User Lists in Visibility rulesBeta
What is new?
Whatfix now enables you to add User Lists as a Visibility Rule to directly target users without creating cohorts.

Why does it matter to me?
Previously, targeting users required adding User Lists to cohorts and waiting for the data to sync. This new capability removes that dependency and enables instant targeting with the following benefits:
Direct targeting: Use User Lists directly in Visibility Rules without having to create and manage cohorts.
Apply instantly: Target users with no initial sync delay, so widgets are shown immediately
Use in Insights: Apply User Lists directly to filter and analyze your data effectively.
How do I do this?
User Lists in Visibility Rules is available to all customers who have Cohorts in Visibility Rules enabled. User Lists in Visibility Rules is a Beta feature. Use the Sign up for Beta button to enable User Lists in Visibility Rules.
For more information, see User Lists in Visibility Rules.
Analyze Funnel Insights by “Total attempts”GA
What is new?
Whatfix now lets you analyze funnels using Total Attempts or Unique Users. Total Attempts counts every attempt to complete funnel steps where as Unique Users counts each user only once on their first attempt.

Why does it matter to me?
Previously, funnels counted only Unique Users, which made it hard to identify issues in repeatable processes. Tracking Total Attempts provides better visibility into user behavior:
Identify friction: Detect drop-offs and bottlenecks across repeated attempts
Prioritize fixes: Analyze step-level drop-offs to guide improvements
Analyze repeat workflows: Measure efficiency in high-frequency processes (for example, submissions or approvals)
How do I do this?
The capability is available to everyone without any extra configuration. For more information, see What are Funnel Insights?
