Replace a Static Cohort (User list)

To update the User list with new User IDs, Whatfix enables the replacement of the existing User list instead of creating a new one.

Assume the team has new joiners since the last creation of the User list uploaded to the Whatfix Analytics dashboard. Add the new User IDs to the same CSV file and upload it again, or create a new CSV file that includes all previously added User IDs and the new User IDs.

Use the following steps to replace a User list:

Prerequisite

Ensure that you add the new User IDs to the same CSV file used previously, or create a new CSV file that includes all previously added User IDs along with the new User IDs. For more information on adding a User ID to a CSV file, Create a Static Cohort (User list).

3. Click the User list you want to replace.

   

4. Click Replace.

   

5. In the Replace User List dialog box, click Continue.

   

6. In the Modify user list page, drag and drop or choose the CSV file to upload.

   

7. Click Save and continue.

   • The User list is replaced. View the updated User count on the User lists listing page.

   • If you’ve used the User list before modifying it to build a Cohort, the changes made to the modified User list are automatically updated in the Cohort.
