Add voiceovers to Whatfix videos of Flows

Automate adding voiceovers to Flow videos. Download auto-generated videos of Flows as multi-format outputs, even if they are not hosted on public hosting sites such as Youtube, Wistia, and Vimeo. Whatfix supports 41 languages of Amazon Polly, which can be used to synthesize speech. Each language has a unique language code. The language codes are W3C language identification tags (ISO 639-3 for the language name and ISO 3166 for the country code).

Access voiceovers on Whatfix Dashboard

Use the following steps to either enable or disable multi-language voiceovers for Flow videos:

Only Account Managers and Content Managers can enable or disable voiceovers.

2. Click Video.
   

3. In the Default language dropdown, select a default language in which you want the voiceovers to be generated.
   

4. Enable or disable the required language voiceover toggles and then choose between Male or Female voices.
   

Note:

• Additional functionalities such as Persona, Narration Style, and Content Handling are a part of AI . For more information, see AI Voiceover for Flow videos.

  

• For languages that are currently not supported, you see a warning message next to the language voiceovers.

• Multi language voiceovers work only for Flows that have up to date translations.

• Flows with incomplete translation don't have any voiceovers when downloaded as videos. Such videos with incomplete or no translation when downloaded has No Audio appended to the filename.

• The default language for voiceovers is English (US). However, you can customize the default language based on your preferred language of communication.

• Once you select the language required, audio is added when you do the following actions:

  - Download a Flow as a video

  - Upload a Flow to your video channel

You can add new languages to the voiceover list by adding new languages for translation. The languages added to Whatfix are auto-populated here. For more information, see Add a new language.
