Global tags are Auto tags that are auto-created on your Whatfix Guidance Dashboard. These tags are attached to both In-app content (Flows, Smart Tips, and Beacons) and Static content (Links, Video Links, Articles, Images, and PDFs). Addition of Global Tags to content enables the content to be displayed within Self Help to all users across the application.
- Global tag is auto-created on your Dashboard and cannot be edited.
- Global tag is an auto tag that must be added to all static content to display such content in the Self Help widget.
-
On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Content.
-
Click All content.
-
Hover your cursor over the content for which you want to add a Global tag, and then select it using the checkbox.
-
Click Tags.
-
Click the Plus icon.
If your account has multiple Global tags, select the one with the highest value. For example, if the tags in your account are Global-Page, Global-Page_1, and Global-Page_2, content should be tagged with Global-Page_2. For more information on viewing the Global tags available in your account, see How can I view the Global tags created in my account?
- Select global from the dropdown.
If the tag does not exist, contact support@whatfix.com.
- Click Done.
