How can I remove the Whatfix browser extension?

You can remove the Whatfix extension from your browser by navigating to the Extensions page of the respective browser. Each browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer or Firefox), has an Extensions page from which extensions can be added or removed.

For example, use the following steps to remove the Whatfix extension from the Chrome browser:

  1. Paste the following URL in your browser:
    chrome://extensions/

  2. On the Whatfix extension, click Remove.

In case you do not have permissions to remove the Whatfix extension, or you have mass deployed it for your organization, contact your IT Admin and then contact support@whatfix.com.
