Overview
Task List is now part of the unified Hub widget (previously called Self Help). It appears as a new tab alongside Explorer, Feedback, and Chatbot, enabling users to view, track, and complete assigned tasks within the same widget.

Note:
Hub is a Beta feature. To enable this feature for your account, contact support@whatfix.com.
Tasks
Tasks are individual to-do items that guide end users through onboarding steps, feature adoption, configuration workflows, and more.

Expand the following accordions for more details:
When the Task List tab Appears on Hub
The Task List tab appears on Hub only when at least one Task List segment evaluates true for users on a given page.
Refer to the following scenarios:
If no Task List segment evaluates true → Task List tab is hidden.
If one or more segments evaluate true → Task List tab is shown.
If users complete all tasks in the current Task List segment:
If another Task List segment then evaluates true → the next eligible Task List segment loads on application page refresh, and the Task List tab remains visible.
If no other Task List segment evaluates true → Task List tab disappears on application page refresh.
To learn more about evaluation of multiple Task List segments, see How does Whatfix display multiple Task List segments on the same page?
How Users Access Tasks in Hub
End users can access Tasks in the following ways:
From the Floating Action Button (FAB) overlaying your application, by clicking on the Task List icon.

Once opened, the Hub displays four tabs:
Explorer
Task List
Feedback
Chatbot

Info:
To enable Feedback and Chatbot, see Configure feedback in Improved Self Help and Integrate Chatbot in Improved Self Help.
From the Tasks tab of the Hub Panel, by clicking on the Task List icon.

Task List Structure in Hub
The Task List tab displays all tasks assigned to the end user. Task Lists support:
Standalone Tasks
Groups (folders) containing Tasks
Info:
Task List does not support nested Groups.
Use Groups to organize related tasks. For example, multiple onboarding tasks for a new product.
Groups in Task List on Hub:
Display the number of tasks within a Group
Update counts instantly when users complete a task
Enable users to open Groups, and then view and complete assigned tasks

Task List Status Filters and Completion Behavior
In the Task List tab, users can filter tasks with the All, To do, and Completed status filters. For more information, see Task List Status Filters.

Task Progress Indicators
The Task List tab includes a task progress indicator which shows:
Number of completed tasks
Total number of tasks
Progress bar reflecting task completion percentage

When users complete assigned tasks, they can monitor task progress and view the updated task status immediately.
