Quick Capture Flow enables you to create Flow steps by clicking the UI elements, which records all your interactions. It further uses AI to automatically convert your clicks into configured steps with titles and descriptions, thereby minimizing configuration pauses and accelerating the entire process. For more information, see Create Quick Capture Flows.
You have the option to switch to Legacy from Quick Capture Flows at any point, if you want to create a Flow step in the manual way.

Legacy refers to the manual method of Flow creation with both Attached to element and Free-floating steps types. For more information, see Create a Flow. Once you click Legacy, a dialog box appears which prompts you to switch between either Attached to element or Free-floating step types. For more information, see Free-floating steps in Flows.
Whatfix enables you to switch between the Legacy Flows and Quick Capture Flows depending on your use cases. The switcher enables you to transition between Flow step types at any point of your Flow creation. For instance, you can start with Quick Capture and transition midway to Free-floating or Attached to element step types within the Legacy mode of Flows.
