Add or remove content from Explorer

The content listing in Explorer is determined by the default listing of the Self Help segment being shown in the application. To add or remove content from Explorer, you must edit the list of content in the corresponding Self Help segment. Use the following steps to edit a Self Help segment:

On the Whatfix guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click Explorer.

Click the Self Help segment you want to add or remove content from.
Add existing content to a segment
If you have already created content and you want to add it to your Self Help segment, use the following steps:

Click Add Content.

Choose between the following options:
- Select From Library: Browse all the content in your Dashboard and select the content you want to add to the segment.
- Select by Tags: Combine tags to define the content that you want to add to your segment. Any content that has a valid set of tags is added to your segment.

Select the content you want to add to your segment. You can search for content by its title and filter by content type. Check the Select All checkbox to select all the content on your Dashboard.Select by Tags
Click the Plus icon to add a tag. Select between And and Or to join tags. To learn more about how to join tags, see How to use AND and OR Conditions inside Widget Segments.- Click Okay
Create and add content to a segment
From within the Self Help segment configuration page, you can create new static content and add it to the segment. Use the following steps:

Click Create.

Select the type of content you want to create.

Create and save your content. For more information about how to create each type of content, see Create content for DAP on OS.
Your newly created content is saved in the Draft stage and added to your Self Help segment.
Add all content to a segment
You can configure your Self Help segment to include all the content created on your dashboard at any point in time by enabling the Add all existing and future items toggle.
Remove content from a segment
If you've added content directly from the library, you can hover over the content you want to delete and then click the Remove icon.
To delete multiple pieces of content at once, select the content you want to delete, then click Remove.
If you've added content using tags, you can remove a tag by clicking the cross icon on the tag you want to remove. You cannot remove individual content.
If you've configured the segment to include all existing and future content, you cannot delete content.
