Note:
Auto Flow Creation is a beta feature supported only on Whatfix Mirror. To enable this feature, contact support@whatfix.com.
Currently, Branching of Flows is not supported with the Auto Flow Creation feature.
Introduction
Auto Flow Creation enables you to automatically generate Flows for Mirror Workflows with minimal effort. It identifies relevant elements and pre-fills tooltips, streamlining the process of building guidance content separately.
Each generated Flow has a unique Flow ID.
Why use Auto Flow Creation?
Manually rebuilding Flows after capturing Workflows in Mirror delays content creation, adds friction, and increases the risk of missed timelines. Auto Flow Creation eliminates this step by generating Flows directly from the captured Workflow, reducing the time and effort.
Benefits of Auto Flow Creation
Auto Flow Creation helps you to streamline the process of building guidance Flows in Mirror. Below are the key benefits, with the features that make them possible:
Automatic Guidance Generation: Create a Flow for any Mirror Workflow, whether new or existing. This reduces authoring time by eliminating the need to manually recreate Flows after capturing Workflows.
Pre-Filled Tooltips: Initial tooltip content is added based on the screen and selected elements. Use this as a starting point and make minor edits to ensure the Flow is accurate and clear.
Accelerated Authoring: Build Flows faster with auto-generation from Mirror Workflows. Skip the manual recreation of steps and focus on refining the content to match your guidance requirements.
Use Cases
Use Auto Flow Creation to simplify and speed up guidance creation in Mirror. Here are some use cases illustrating common scenarios.
Jumpstart Content Creation: Start with pre-filled tooltip content instead of writing everything from scratch. Review the suggestions and make quick edits before publishing the Flow.
Go Live Quickly When Time Is Limited: Meet tight deadlines, such as new application launches or urgent training rollouts, by creating and publishing guidance Flows in minutes. Skip manual content creation and move straight to review and publishing.
