Overview
Whatfix Mirror enables you to edit and manage screens captured from your application, either before or after capturing a Mirror Workflow. You can modify text, images, or other sensitive content to ensure workflows are accurate and secure.
For example, you might need to hide sensitive information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or customer account numbers before sharing a Workflow with your learners. You can also update UI labels or replace captured screen images to ensure Workflows are accurate and reflect the current application interface.
Modify Content on Mirror Screens
When editing Mirror Bildschirms, you can choose the scope of your changes. Edits can apply to a specific element on a screen, the entire screen, or all screens in the workflow, depending on your needs. This gives you precise control over how broadly you want to apply your changes.
You can modify content in the following ways:
Edit text directly on your screens to update UI labels or remove sensitive information, and use search to locate text for edits across one or more screens. For more information, see Edit Text on a Mirror Screen.
Blur images to hide sensitive information captured on the screen by adjusting the blur intensity. For more information, see Blur an Image on a Mirror Screen.
Replace images entirely to ensure all sensitive information is completely removed from the Mirror Screen. For more information, see Replace an Image on a Mirror Screen.
Use Smart Edits to automatically identify sensitive information and apply suggested edits quickly. For more information, see Smart Edits in Mirror.
