Can I send a test Trend Insight report?

Yes, Whatfix enables you to send a test Trend Insight report before creating a schedule. This helps senders understand how the report would look for recipients.
Use the following steps to send a test email of your report:
- On the Whatfix Analytics dashboard, click Insights.
Click the Trend Insight you want to schedule.
Click Schedule.
In the Schedule dialog box, click Create schedule.
Enter a name for the reporting schedule.
Enter the email IDs of the recipients and then click Add or press the Enter key on your keyboard. Use a comma to separate the email IDs.
Schedule the reports using any one of the conditions. For more information on the conditions, see Schedule a Trend Insight.
Click Send test mail.
In the Send test mail dialog box, enter the email IDs of the recipients to whom you want to send the test report, and then click Add or press the Enter key on your keyboard. Use a comma to separate the email IDs.
Note:
Ensure that you whitelist the email domains of the recipients before sending them the test mail. By default, the currently logged-in Whatfix Analytics dashboard user’s email ID is added to the recipients list, which can be removed.
Click Send.
Note:
The added recipients receive a test report from Whatfix with the subject, [Test] Scheduled Insight: <Schedule name>.
After confirming the look and feel of the test report, save the Schedule for your report.
