Whatfix enables you to schedule a Trend Insight report, sent as an email to your stakeholders. You might want to schedule a Trend Insight report for one of the following reasons:
Share reports regularly with stakeholders for data-driven decision-making.
Share reports with stakeholders who are not part of the Whatfix Analytics dashboard.
Monitor updated account-level analytics data regularly without logging in to the Whatfix Analytics dashboard.
Identify trends and data patterns derived from historical data reports.
Here’s a sample Trend Insight report that is sent as an email.
Tip
Whatfix enables you to schedule the Flow Failure Report and the User Action Analytics reports to your stakeholders.

Before even creating a Schedule, Whatfix enables you to send a test email to your recipients. This helps your recipients understand how the report would look.
Use the following steps to send a test email of your report:
In the Schedule dialog box, click Send test mail.
In the Send test mail dialog box, enter the name of the recipients to whom you want to send the test report, and then click Add or press the Enter key on your keyboard. Ensure that you whitelist the email domains of recipients before sending them the test mail. By default, the currently logged-in Product Analytics user’s email ID is added to the recipients list, which can be removed.
Click Send.
The added recipients receive a test report from Whatfix with the subject, [Test] Scheduled Insight: <Schedule name>.
After confirming the look and feel of the test report, create the actual Schedule for your report.
Enter the email IDs of the recipients, and then click Add or press the Enter key on your keyboard. Use a comma to separate the email IDs.

If the Chart type in the Trend Insight you’ve scheduled is set to Table or Metrics, by default, the email that contains the screenshot of the Insight shows a Line chart and not a Table or Metrics chart.
