Article summary

Introduction

There is a difference between the Unique Users Viewed count in Guidance Analytics and the Total Users (unique) count in Funnel Insights.

Unique Users Viewed in Guidance Analytics:

Total Users in Funnel Insights:

Cause

  • The data for Unique Users Viewed displayed in the Guidance Analytics dashboard represents the count of all users who view or interact with Whatfix content or widgets, such as Self Help, Flows, Beacons, etc. It does not count users who visit pages where Whatfix content is not present.

  • On the other hand, the data for Total Users in Funnel Insights reflects the total number of users present in the system, regardless of whether they view or interact with Whatfix content or not. This means that it also counts unique users who visit pages where Whatfix content is not present.

Conclusion

Since Total Users also includes users who visit pages where Whatfix content is not present, it is expected that the Total Users count may be higher than the count of Unique Users Viewed.
