You can add up to 50 Smart Tips in a Smart Tip Collection.
The Add Smart Tip Collection option is no longer supported with the Unified Content Experience.
By default, Whatfix permits only one Smart Tip segment to be displayed at a time on a page. To add multiple Smart Tips on the same page, add Smart Tips to an existing Collection for that page.
To enable multiple Smart Tip segments on the same page, contact support@whatfix.com.

To add a Smart Tip to an existing Smart Tip Collection, select an element on the application, similar to creating a Smart Tip from scratch.
A Smart Tip Collection is a group of Smart Tips belonging to the same page. For more information, see Create Smart Tips.
Use the following steps to add a Smart Tip to an existing Smart Tips collection:
On the Whatfix Dashboard, hover the cursor over the desired Smart Tip collection, and then click the Edit icon.
Click Launch Live Edit.
Click Open WFEditorLauncher on the pop-up that appears.
Once Studio launches in your application, click + Add Help Tip.

In case you want to create a Validation Tip, click the drop-down, and then click + Add validation tip.
Select an element on the application where you want the Smart Tip to point.
Enter the purpose of the Smart Tip.

You can also add a more detailed optional description for the step action (for example, to specify the rules of an input field).
In the Configurations tab, expand Interaction, and then, under the Display Smart Tip on section, select the required condition to stop displaying the Smart Tip.
Under Appearance, select the required theme and color for the Smart Tip. For more information, see Configure Style and Tooltips.
Under Icon, select the Type, Color, and Size of the icon.

Whatfix also enables you to add custom icons for Smart Tips. For more information, see Use custom icons for Smart Tips.
Under Positioning, adjust the position of the Smart Tip.

In the Basic positioning mode, you can choose among the 4 available positions.

In the Advanced positioning mode, you can adjust the position of the Smart Tip by pixel. Either use the navigational arrows or enter the value in the movement on key click (px) dropdown to change the position by pixels.
Under Tooltip Position, choose the required position of the tooltip.
Under Additional Options, choose how you want the Smart Tip to appear. For more information, see Auto Tip Execution and Data entry automation.
Under Additional Options, enable the Anchor to Page or Anchor to Element toggle based on your requirement. For more information, see Anchor content to a Page and Anchor content to an Element.
In the Visibility Rules, enter the required visibility rules for the Smart Tip. Visibility Rules enable you to configure Smart Tips to display the tooltip only when pre-determined conditions are met. For more information, see Understand New Visibility Rules for Content and Configure Where DAP Guidance Appears.
Click Save Tip.
To add more than one Smart Tip to the collection, repeat steps 4 to 15.
