Whatfix enables you to create a copy of an existing Survey and edit it. When you want to use the same Survey with minor modifications or if you want to display the same Survey to different users, you can create a copy of the Survey and make it live for your end users. This will help you reuse the existing Survey and reduce the need to recreate the Survey from scratch.

A copy of a Survey can be created only in the widget section within the Dashboard.
Use the following steps to create a copy of an existing Survey:

On the Whatfix Guidance dashboard, click Widgets.

Click Surveys.

Whatfix content and widgets can be copied in the Draft, Ready, and Production stages.

Hover your cursor over the Survey for which you want to create a copy, and then click the Copy icon.

In the pop-up, click Copy.

The copy of the Whatfix content or widget is created with the title: Copy of <Content/Widget Title>.

The copied Survey can be found in the Draft stage. The changes made to the copied Survey won't affect the original Survey.

You must push the copied Survey from the Draft stage to the Production stage for the changes to appear on your application. For more information, see Push Whatfix content and widgets to Production.
